Horror may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Since early childhood, I’ve been fascinated and inspired by folklore, ghostly tales, and scary movies from Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, and Stephen King. This led to an exploration of Halloween, a darkly whimsical holiday that deeply inspires me as a creative artist. After years of research, writing, photography and design, I launched a Halloween site, SenorScary.com in 2009. This has connected me with fellow enthusiasts, authors, artists, and filmmakers worldwide, and has provided many opportunities for unique collaborations. The long-term project has also prompted an on-going development of other marketing skills such as writing, public relations, social media promotion, brand management, and video editing.
